We are in the process of changing our ARS weather stations over to a radio based data acquisition system (instead of a telephone call system)--we are also moving it to a different website. Right now we have Sidney, Rasmussen, South Sidney, East Fairview, and East Buford. Any comments on products/displays will be appreciated. Our hope is to have several more ARS stations converted and on this system by the end of the summer. These stations have more sensors that the old ones including leaf wetness, wind speed & direction and air temperature and RH at 2 m height instead of just at 30 cm (still there). The ARS stations at Poplar, Nesson, and Glendive are not in service at this time. Nesson Valley is available on NDAWN (as the Hofflund site ) as is the MSU Sidney and MSU Brorson (across road from Rasmussen) stations--however, these are almost day behind--they are only updated at 1 am everyday.
